One day two pussycats were fighting over a piece of chuck. They kept battling over how important each of them should get. A monkey was sitting on a near tree eyeing a battle. 

 He called out to the pussycats and said that he was ready to help them distribute their chuck. He told them he'd divide it in half and each cat would get one half. The pussycats handed over their chuck to the monkey. He resolve it into two pieces, but one piece came bigger than the other. 

 Now the monkey tested to equate by smelling the large piece but it ended up being lower than the other. He kept hitting the chuck in an attempt to equate, but he ate all the chuck. 

 He'd cheated on the pussycats and when they asked him what he'd done. He told that it would not have happed if he'd distributed chuck himself. The laughing monkey swayed from tree to tree. 

ایک دن دو بلیاں روٹی کے ٹکڑے پر جھگڑ رہی تھیں۔ وہ اس بات پر لڑتے رہے کہ ان میں سے ہر ایک کو کتنا ملنا چاہیے۔ ایک بندر قریب ہی ایک درخت پر بیٹھا ہوا تھا اور انکا جھگڑا ہوتا دیکھ رہا تھا۔ 

اس نے بلیوں کو پکارا اور کہا کہ وہ ان کی روٹی بانٹنے میں ان کی مدد کرنے کو تیار ہے۔ اس نے ان سے کہا کہ وہ اسے آدھے حصے میں تقسیم کرے گا اور ہر بلی کو ایک آدھا ملے گا۔ بلیوں نے اپنی روٹی بندر کے حوالے کر دی۔ اس نے اسے دو ٹکڑوں میں تقسیم کیا، لیکن ایک ٹکڑا دوسرے سے بڑا ہو گیا۔

اب بندر نے بڑے ٹکڑے کو چبھو کر برابر کرنے کی کوشش کی لیکن وہ دوسرے سے چھوٹے پر ختم ہو گیا۔ وہ برابر کرنے کی کوشش میں روٹی پر ہاتھ مارتا رہا، لیکن اس نے ساری روٹیاں کھا لیں۔

اس نے بلیوں کو دھوکہ دیا تھا اور جب انہوں نے اس سے پوچھا کہ اس نے کیا کیا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اگر وہ خود روٹی بانٹ لیتے تو ایسا نہ ہوتا۔ ہنستے ہوئے بندر درخت سے دوسرے درخت پر جھول گیا۔
