Once upon a time, there lived a couple who were happily wedded and had a pet cat. For some strange reason, the man abominated the cat. There wasn't a day that he didn't want to get relieve of the cat. 

 Eventually one day he planned to get relieve of her. He put the cat in a sack and walked down from their house."I will leave him twenty blocks down, and he will noway come back,"the man laughed and stopped twenty blocks down from his house. 

 He left the cat there and as he was making his way back he saw the cat wandering outside their house. He was veritably surprised and angry."How can he come back then!?"he said. 

 A many days passed and he made another plan."I will leave him forty blocks down this time, and he will noway near back,"he allowed to himself. He put the cat in a sack and dropped it forty blocks down from their house. When he returned, the cat was in his place. The man was angry now. He demurred his bases and flushed with rage. How did this be? 

He made one last plan to get relieve of the cat. He put it in a sack and walked as far as he could. As we moved forward, he turned left and right. When he eventually reached as far as he could from his house, he went to get the sack, but it was empty! 

 He telephoned his woman's number and as soon as he picked it up, he asked,"Hey darling, is the cat home?"

"Yes, it is,"he replied. 

"Can you call her? I will have to ask her for directions to get home,"the man replied. 

ایک دفعہ کا ذکر ہے، وہاں ایک جوڑا رہتا تھا، جو خوشی سے شادی شدہ تھا اور ان کی ایک پالتو بلی تھی۔ کچھ عجیب و غریب وجہ سے، آدمی بلی سے بالکل نفرت کرتا تھا۔ کوئی دن ایسا نہیں تھا کہ اس نے بلی سے جان چھڑانے کی خواہش نہ کی ہو۔

آخر ایک دن اس نے اس سے جان چھڑانے کا منصوبہ بنایا۔ اس نے بلی کو بوری میں ڈالا اور ان کے گھر سے بہت دور چلا گیا۔ "میں اسے بیس بلاکس دور چھوڑ دوں گا، اور وہ کبھی واپس نہیں آئے گا" آدمی ہنسا اور ان کے گھر سے بیس بلاکس دور رک گیا۔

اس نے بلی کو وہیں چھوڑ دیا اور جب وہ واپسی کا راستہ اختیار کر رہا تھا تو اس نے دیکھا کہ بلی ان کے گھر کے باہر گھوم رہی ہے۔ وہ بہت حیران اور غصے میں تھا۔ "وہ یہاں واپس کیسے آ سکتا ہے!؟" اس نے کہا.

چند دن گزرے اور اس نے ایک اور منصوبہ بنایا۔ ’’اس بار میں اسے چالیس بلاکس دور چھوڑ دوں گا، اور وہ کبھی واپس نہیں آئے گا۔‘‘ اس نے اپنے آپ میں سوچا۔ اس نے بلی کو ایک بوری میں ڈال کر ان کے گھر سے چالیس بلاکس کے فاصلے پر گرا دیا۔ جب وہ واپس آیا تو بلی اپنی جگہ پر موجود تھی۔ وہ شخص اب غصے میں تھا۔ اس نے اپنے پاؤں مارے اور غصے سے لال ہو گیا۔ یہ کیسے ممکن ہوا؟

اس نے بلی سے چھٹکارا پانے کے لیے ایک آخری منصوبہ بنایا۔ اس نے اسے ایک بوری میں ڈالا اور جہاں تک وہ چلا سکتا تھا۔ جب ہم آگے بڑھ رہے تھے تو اس نے بائیں اور دائیں اور موڑ لیا۔ جب وہ آخر کار ان کے گھر سے جہاں تک پہنچ سکتا تھا، بوری لینے کے لیے پہنچا، لیکن وہ خالی تھی!

اس نے اپنی بیوی کا نمبر ڈائل کیا اور جیسے ہی اس نے اٹھایا، اس نے پوچھا، "ارے پیارے، بلی گھر ہے؟"

"ہاں، یہ ہے" اس نے جواب دیا۔

"کیا آپ اسے فون دے سکتے ہیں؛ مجھے گھر واپس جانے کے لیے اس سے ہدایات مانگنی ہوں گی۔‘‘ آدمی نے جواب دیا۔
