پھر ایک روز الادین کی دوکان پر ایک اجنبی شخص آیا۔ اس اجنبی شخص نے آتے ہی الادین سے اس کے باپ کے انتقال کا افسوس کیا تو الادین نے کہا معاف کیجیے گا میں نے آپ کو پہچانا نہیں۔ اس پر اجنبی شخص نے اسے بتایا کہ وہ اس کا چچا ہے جو کام کی غرض سے باہر گیا تھا۔ الادین فوری سے بولا میں نے آپ کا ذکر والد سے سنا تھا۔

پھر چچا نے الادین کو بتایا کے میں تمہیں خزانے کا پتا بتانے آیا ہوں۔ الادین حیرانگی سے بولا خزانہ! چچا نے کہا ہاں خزانہ، لیکن اس کے لیے تمہیں میرے ساتھ چلنا ہوگا۔ الادین جلد ہی راضی ہوگیا اور وہ دونوں اونٹ پر بیٹھ کر صحرا میں چل پڑے، چلتے چلتے وہ پہاڑوں میں پہنچ گے۔ پھر چچا نے الادین سے کہا جاؤ کچھ لکڑیاں لے کر آؤ۔ الادین لکڑیاں لایا اس سے آگ جلائی گئی اور پھر چچا اس پر کچھ جادو کرنے لگا۔

پھر چچا نے کہا اگر تم خزانہ چاہتے ہو تو پہلے یہ انگوٹھی پہن لو۔ الادین نے جیسے ہی انگوٹھی پہنی وہ سفید پتھر زمین سے سرکا تو زمین کے اندر راستہ بن گیا۔ اس کے بعد چچا نے بتایا جیسے ہی تم زمین میں لگی اس سیڑھیوں سے نیچے جاؤ گے تو تمہیں ایک باغ نظر آے گا۔ تم بغیر کسی چیز کو چھوے آگے چلتے رہنا جب تک تم ایک چراغ کے پاس نہ پہنچ جاؤ۔ جیسے ہی تم اس چراغ کے پاس پہنچو اس میں مجود تیل نکال دینا اور چراغ میرے پاس لے آنا۔

جیسے ہی الادین سیڑھیوں سے نیچے اترا تو اس کو ایک بہت ہی خوبصورت پھلوں گا باغ نظر آیا۔ وہ اتنے خوبصورت پھل دیکھ کر نہ رہ سکا اور چچا کے منع کرنے کے باوجود پھل توڑنے لگا۔ اس نے ایک سیب توڑا، اور توڑتے ہی سیب  ایک ہیرے میں تبدیل ہوگیا۔ پھر الادین نے ایک انگور کا گچھا توڑا تو وہ موتیوں میں تبدیل ہوگیا۔ الادین یہ سب دیکھ کر بہت خوش ہوا، اور اس نے ایک تھیلے میں تمام جوہرات بھر لیے۔

پھر الادین نے چراغ تلاشہ، اس میں سے تیل نکالا اور واپسی کی طرف چل پڑا۔ جب سیڑھیوں سے الادین واپس چڑھنے لگا تو وزن زیادہ ہونے کی وجہ سے سیڑھیاں نہیں چڑھ پارہا تھا۔ اس نے چچا کو مدد کے لیے پکارا۔ جب چچا نے اوپر سے الادین کو جواہرات سے بھرے تھیلے کے ساتھ دیکھا تو غصہ سے آگ بگولہ ہوگیا، کہنے لگا مرخ میں نے تمہیں منع بھی کیا تھا کے باغ سے کوئی پھل نہ توڑنا، لیکن تم نے توڑے لاؤ چراغ مجھے دو۔ الادین کو چچا کے بدلے ہوۓ رویے پر بڑا تعجب ہوا اور چراغ پکڑانے سے انکار کر دیا۔

پھر جادوگر چچا کو غصہ آیا اس نے جادو کر کے زمین کا راستہ دوبارہ بند کر دیا۔ الادین مایوسی کے عالم میں وہیں بیٹھ گیا اور سوچنے لگا مجھے اتنی جلدی اس شخص پر اعتبار نہیں کرنا چاہیے تھا۔ پھر الادین کافی دن تک اس تک روتا رہا لیکن کوئی اس کو مدد کو نہ آیا۔ پھر الادین نے اپنی خواہش کا اظہار کرتے ہوۓ کہا کاش کوئی مجھے میرے گھر لے جاتا یہ کہتے ہوۓ اس نے اپنی انگوٹھی پر ہاتھ لگایا تو جادوئی انگوٹھی نے اسے جواہرات اور چراغ سمیت اسے اس کے گھر پہنچا دیا۔

الادین کی ماں جو کافی دنوں سے اسے ڈھونڈ ڈھونڈ کر تھک گئی تھی، روتے ہوۓ کہنے لگی تم اتنے دنوں سے کہاں تھے میں نے تمہیں ہر جگہ تلاش لیا لیکن تم کہیں نہیں ملے۔ پھر الادین سارا واقع اپنی والدہ کو بتایا اور وہ سارا خزانہ بھی دیکھایا جو اس نے وہاں سے اکھٹا کیا تھا۔ الادین کی والدہ نے جب چراغ دیکھا تو کہا یہ کافی پورانہ اور گندہ ہو رہا ہے۔ پھر انہوں نے اس چراغ کو صاف کرنے کے لیے چراغ کو رگڑا، چراغ رگڑتے ہی چراغ میں سے جن نکل آیا۔ الادین اور اس کی والدہ جن کو دیکھ کر ڈر گے۔ 

جن نے کہا گھبراؤ نہیں آقا میں آپ کا غلام ہوں، آپ اپنی خواہش کا اظہار کریں میں آپ کی خواہش پوری کروں گا۔ انہوں سب سے پہلے جن کو کھانا لانے کا حکم دیا۔ حکم دیتے ہی جن نے سونے اور چاندی کے برتنوں سے میز کو سجا دیا۔ اور ان میں من پسند کے کھانے آنے لگے۔ الادین اور اس کی والدہ نے خوب پیٹ بھر کر کھانا کھایا۔ پھر الادین کی والدہ نے ان سونے اور چاندی کی پلیٹوں کو بازار جاکر بیچ دیا اور گھر کی ضرورت کی ایشیا لے آئ۔

پھر ایک روز جب الادین اور اس کا بندر بازار میں کھیل رہے تھے کہ اتنے میں بازار سے بادشاہ کی بیٹی شہزادی کا گزر ہوا۔ الادین پہلی ہی نظر میں شہزادی کو دل دے بیٹھا اور جلدی سے گھر کی طرف بھاگا اور اپنی ماں کو شہزادی کے ساتھ شادی کی خواہش کرنے لگا۔ الادین کی یہ بات سن کر اس کی والدہ ہنسنے لگی اور کہنے لگی کیا ہوگیا ہے تمہیں بادشاہ کو یہ بات پتا چلی تو وہ دربانوں سے کہہ کر تمہیں خوب مار پروائیں گے۔ الادین نے اپنی والدہ سے کہا مجھے اس چیز کی پرواہ نہیں بس آپ کچھ ہیرے جواہرات لے کر بادشاہ کے پاس چلی جائیں اور ان کی بیٹی کا ہاتھ میرے لیے مانگیں۔

الادین کی والدہ نے اس کی خواہش کی تکمیل کے لیے ویسا ہی کیا جیسے الادین نے کہا تھا۔ جب اس کی والدہ ململ کے کپڑے میں جواہرات لپیٹے وہاں پہنچ گئی۔ دربانوں نے اسے بادشاہ کے دربار میں جانے سے روک لیا لیکن بادشاہ کو اس کے ہاتھ میں ململ کی پوٹری دیکھ کر کافی تجسس ہوا اور اس نے دربانوں کو حکم دیا کے اس خاتوں کو اندر آنے دیا جاۓ۔

اس پر الادین کی ماں نے بادشاہ کا شکریہ ادا کرتے ہوۓ کہا میں آپ کی بیٹی کا ہاتھ اپنے بیٹے کے لیے مانگنے آئ ہوں اور یہ ہیرے جواہرات تحفہ کے طور پر لائی ہوں۔ بادشاہ نے کہا یہ ہیرے جواہرات تو بہت قیمتی لگ رہے ہیں، اگر تمہارا بیٹا میری بیٹی سے شادی کی خواہش رکھتا ہے تو اسے کہنا ایسے بیش قیمتی جواہرات چالیس سونے کے تھالوں میں لاد کر چالیس غلاموں کے ساتھ میرے پاس لے آے تو میں اپنی بیٹی کا ہاتھ اس کے ہاتھ میں دے دوں گا۔

پھر الادین کی ماں نے گھر جاکر الادین کو بادشاہ کی شرط بتائی، تو الادین نے کہا بس اتنی سی بات اس نے چراغ رگڑا اور جن کو بولا لیا۔ الادین نے اپنی خواہش کا اظہار جن سے کیا جن نے تھال پکڑے غلاموں کے ساتھ گھر کو بھر دیا۔ پھر الادین کی ماں غلاموں کو لیے بادشاہ کی پہلی شرط پوری کرنے دربار چلے گئی۔ بادشاہ دیکھ کر خوش ہوا اور کہا میری دوسری شرط یہ ہے کے تمہارا بیٹا میری بیٹی کے لیے ایک عالی شان محل بنواۓ جہاں میری بیٹی رہ سکے۔

الادین کی ماں نے بادشاہ کی دوسری شرط کا الادین کو بتایا۔ الادین نے جن کو حکم دیا تو اس نے راتوں رات بادشاہ کے محل کے سامنے ایک بڑا سا محل تعمیر کردیا اور ایک سرخ رنگ کا قالین محل سے بادشاہ کے محل تک بچھا دیا۔ الادین نے کہا بہت خوب اب بس جن تم مجھے ایک شاہی لباس اور ایک گھوڑا دے دو۔ جن نے ویسا ہی کیا، الادین گھوڑے پر سوار ہوکر بادشاہ کے محل میں پہنچ گیا۔ بادشاہ الادین کو دیکھ کر خوش ہوا اور کہا میں تمہیں اپنی بیٹی کا ہاتھ دینے کے لیے تیار ہوں جاؤ جاکر شادی کی طیاریاں کرو۔

الادین اور شہزادی کی شادی ہوتے ہی الادین اپنی سلطنت اور اردگرد کی دوسری سلطنتوں میں بھی مشھور ہوگیا۔ مشھور ہونے کی خبر جادوگر کو ملی تو وہ بھی الادین کو دیکھنے چلا آیا۔ اور دیکھتے ہی بولا یہ لڑکا باہر کیسے نکل آیا اور ضرور اس نے یہ سب حاصل کرنے کے لیے میرا چراغ استعمال کیا ہوگا۔ جادوگر نے فوری ترقیب لڑائی اور اگلے کی روز چراغ بیچنے والے کا بھیس بدل کر الادین کی سلطنت پہنچ گیا۔

جادوگر نے الادین کے محل کے باہر پہنچتے ہی اونچی اونچی آواز میں چراغ بیچنے کی پیش کش لگانا شروع کردیں، اور کہنے لگا پورانہ چراغ دے کر نیا چراغ لے لو۔ شہزادی نے جب یہ پیش کش سنی تو اس نے سوچا الادین کب سے یہ پورانہ چراغ استعمال کررہا ہے کیوں نہ میں یہ پورانہ چراغ دے کر نیا چراغ لے لوں۔ شہزادی نے ویسا ہی کیا جیسا جادوگر چاہتا تھا۔ نیا چراغ لے کر شہزادی محل میں چلے گئی۔ جادوگر نے اپنے جادوئی چراغ کو رگڑا اور جن کو بولا لیا۔

جادوگر نے جن کو حکم دیا کہ اس محل کو اور شہزادی کشہزادی کو یہاں سے اٹھاۓ اور کہیں دور صحرا میں چھوڑ آے۔ پھر محل ایک زور دار آواز کے ساتھ اپنی جگہ سے غائب ہوگیا۔ بادشاہ نے یہ سارا معمالہ دیکھ رہا تھا اس نے فوری اپنے وزیر کو حکم دیا کے الادین کو بلایا جاۓ۔ جب الادین محل میں آیا تو بادشاہ نے الادین کو دیا کے جاؤ چار دن کے اندر میری بیٹی کو ڈھونڈ کر لاؤ ورنہ تمہارا سر کلم کر دیا جاۓ گا۔ الادین نے لرزتی ہوئی آواز سے کہا میں شہزادی کو ڈھونڈ لاؤں گا یہ میرا آپ سے وعدہ ہے۔

پھر الادین تین روز تک شہزادی کو سلطنت میں ڈھونڈتا رہا لیکن اسے شہزادی کہیں نہیں ملی۔ پھر وہ تھک ہار کر ایک جگہ مایوسی سے بیٹھ کر رونے لگا کے اچانک اس کی نظر اس کی انگوٹھی پر پڑی۔ اس نے اپنی انگوٹھی سے مدد مانگی تو انگوٹھی نے اسے محل کے باہر پہنچا دیا جو کہ ایک صحرا میں مجود تھا۔ الادین چپکے سے محل میں داخل ہوا اور شہزادی سے ملا شہزادی نے اسے سارا واقع بتایا۔

الادین نے ایک ترقیب سوچی اور شہزادی کو ایک بوتل دی اور کہا جب جادوگر آے آپ اس کے شربت میں یہ ملا دینا اس سے ہمیں چراغ اور محل دونوں واپس مل جائیں گے۔ پھر الادین محل میں چھپ گیا اور شہزادی کو دیکھنے لگا جیسے ہی جادوگر محل میں آیا تو شہزادی نے اسے شربت پینے کی دعوت دی۔ جادوگر نے خوشی خوشی وہ شربت پینے لگا جس میں شہزادی نے نیند کی دوا ملائی تھی۔ 

جادوگر شربت پیتے ہی بے ہوش ہوگیا۔ پھر الادین نے جادوگر کی جیب سے چراغ نکالا اور جن کو بلایا اور اسے حکم دیا کے محل کو واپس سلطنت میں لے چلے اور اس مرخ جادوگر کو صحرا میں ایسی جگہ چھوڑ دے جہاں سے یہ کبھی واپس نہ آسکے۔ جن نے ویسا ہی کیا محل سلطنت میں واپس آگیا بادشاہ یہ دیکھ کر بہت خوش ہوا اور اپنا تاج الادین کو پہنا کر سلطنت الادین کو دے دی۔ پھر الادین شہزادی کے ساتھ اپنی سلطنت میں ہنسی خوشی رہنے لگا۔
