The people of the village were very tired of his habit and named him "Sheikh Chali". He made big imaginary plans like his name but did not carry out any of them. Irritated by the habit of a man said to him: "Sheikh Sahib! Why do you make such big plans?

You have to leave this world in a week, think of your death. "

It was heard that the foolish Sheikh Chili became convinced of his death a week later and started preparing for it. First he dug a grave and went to bed in it. Six days passed, nothing happened. On the seventh day, Sheikh Chili thought that this was the last day of the week as told by this person, maybe now the angel of death is coming.

He was thinking that a voice came in his ear "If a good servant of Allah delivers a basket of eggs to my house, I will give him an Ashrafi as a reward". He came and picked up the basket of eggs and put it on his head.

Seeing this, the owner of the basket said:

Sheikh Chali spoke with great pride, Mian Sahib! I am Sheikh Chali, I am not a small person, the whole village knows me, ”he said and left with a basket of eggs.

He was in the habit of cooking imaginary pilaf. While walking on the road with a basket of eggs on his head, he lost his temper and started cooking imaginary palao. He said, I will buy it.

The cow will give milk, my children will ask for milk, so I will tell them, "Take this milk", saying so, he grabbed the basket and removed both hands, due to which he fell on the ground and all the eggs were broken.

When the owner of the egg saw this scene, he sighed and said, "Oh my eggs", on the other hand Sheikh Chali was crying and saying, "Oh my baby".

After hearing the sighs of both of them, the people gathered and after listening to the words of Sheikh Chali, they convinced him: "You are not even married. Where did the children come from? You will have to pay the compensation. ”The matter reached Sheikh Chali's mother. She came there and paid the compensation and released Sheikh Chali

پیارے بچو، آپ نے شیخ چلی کا نام تو سنا ہی ہوگا اور ان کی کہانیاں پڑھ کر لطف اندوز ہوا ہوگا۔ آج ہم اس کی حماقت سے بھری کہانی سناتے ہیں۔ تھا، جس    کا  نام چلی تھا۔

گاؤں کے لوگ اس کی عادت سے بہت تنگ آئے اور اس کا نام ’’شیخ چلی‘‘ رکھا۔ اس نے اپنے نام کی طرح بڑے خیالی منصوبے بنائے لیکن ان میں سے کسی پر بھی عمل نہ کیا۔ ایک آدمی کی عادت سے ناراض ہو کر اس سے کہا: شیخ صاحب! آپ اتنے بڑے منصوبے کیوں بناتے ہیں؟

تمہیں ایک ہفتے میں اس دنیا سے جانا ہے، اپنی موت کا سوچو۔ "

سنا تھا کہ احمق شیخ چلی کو ایک ہفتے بعد اپنی موت کا یقین ہو گیا اور اس نے اس کی تیاری شروع کر دی۔ پہلے اس نے ایک قبر کھودی اور اس میں سو گیا۔ چھ دن گزر گئے، کچھ نہیں ہوا۔ ساتویں دن شیخ چلی نے سوچا کہ یہ ہفتے کا آخری دن ہے جیسا کہ اس شخص نے بتایا تھا، شاید اب موت کا فرشتہ آنے والا ہے۔

وہ سوچ ہی رہا تھا کہ اس کے کان میں آواز آئی "اگر اللہ کا کوئی نیک بندہ میرے گھر انڈوں کی ایک ٹوکری پہنچا دے تو میں اسے انعام کے طور پر اشرفی دوں گا"۔ اس نے آکر انڈوں کی ٹوکری اٹھائی اور اس کے سر پر رکھ دی۔

یہ دیکھ کر ٹوکری کے مالک نے کہا:

شیخ چلی بڑے فخر سے بولے، میاں صاحب! میں شیخ چلی ہوں، میں کوئی چھوٹا آدمی نہیں ہوں، پورا گاؤں مجھے جانتا ہے۔” اس نے کہا اور انڈوں کی ٹوکری لے کر چلا گیا۔

اسے خیالی پیلاف پکانے کی عادت تھی۔ سر پر انڈوں کی ٹوکری لے کر سڑک پر چلتے ہوئے وہ غصہ کھو بیٹھا اور خیالی پلاؤ پکانے لگا۔ اس نے کہا، میں اسے خریدوں گا۔

گائے دودھ دے گی، میرے بچے دودھ مانگیں گے، تو میں ان سے کہوں گا کہ یہ دودھ لے لو، اتنا کہہ کر اس نے ٹوکری پکڑی اور دونوں ہاتھ ہٹائے، جس سے وہ زمین پر گر گئی اور سارے انڈے گر گئے۔ ٹوٹاھوا.

انڈے کے مالک نے جب یہ منظر دیکھا تو اس نے آہ بھری اور کہا ’’اوہ مائی ایگز‘‘ دوسری طرف شیخ چلی روتے ہوئے کہہ رہے تھے ’’اوہ مائی بی بی‘‘۔

ان دونوں کی سسکیاں سن کر لوگ اکٹھے ہو گئے اور شیخ چلی کی باتیں سن کر اسے سمجھا دیا: "تم نے شادی بھی نہیں کی، بچے کہاں سے آئے؟ تمہیں معاوضہ ادا کرنا پڑے گا۔" بات شیخ چلی کی والدہ تک پہنچی، اس نے وہاں آکر معاوضہ ادا کیا اور شیخ چلی کو چھوڑ دیا۔
