 It is a matter of ancient times that a very prosperous king and queen lived in an empire.  He had a young daughter, Lily.  One day Queen Lily was sitting in the garden when suddenly a cat came out of the bushes which was very dirty and injured.  Lily was very happy to see the cat.  So the queen ordered the cat to be tamed and cleaned.

 Then the cat and Lily would play with each other all day.  The two fell in love so much that Lily could not sleep without the cat.  Then one night the cat's wound healed and she slipped out of the palace.  Lily cried a lot and the king ordered that the cat be found.  But no one found the cat and in time the cat was forgotten.

 After a few years, the princess became young and very beautiful.  The princess was fond of wandering in the forest and humming alone.  One day she went for a walk in the forest with her servants.  There he began to murmur in his sarcastic voice. Hearing his melodious voice, his servants fell asleep.  Then the lone wolf went far into the forest.

 The giant of the forest heard his murmur and became mad.  Then the giant took the princess with him and imprisoned her.  The giant said now you will only murmur for me.  The princess cried for a long time but no one came to her aid.  Then the giant asked the princess to fetch water from the canal and said if you try to run away I will find you and kill you.

 Weeping, the princess reached the river bank where she found the same cat that she used to play with as a child.  But she did not recognize the cat.  The princess liked the cat very much.  The princess said to the cat, "Will you be my friend?" The cat nodded.  Then the princess told him the whole story that the giant had tied her up and she could not run away now.  And he said, I wish you could save me.

  Hearing this, the cat turned into a prince.  But he still had a cat's ear on his head and a cat's tail on his back.  The princess was very surprised to see all this and said who are you?  The cat prince said, "Don't worry, I am the prince of the neighboring kingdom."  My childhood I was cursed to live in this forest in the presence of a cat.  And I will be like that until I show kindness to someone he does not know.

 In the meantime, the giant angrily called out to the princess, who on hearing this, asked for permission from the cat prince and walked towards the cave.  The next day, while the princess was preparing food for the giant at noon, the cat prince slipped into the cave.  At that time, Dev was not present in the cave.  The cat asked, "Princess, what are you doing?"  So the princess said I am trying to make something good for the giant, and thinking of making strawberry soup.  Saying this, the princess went to the forest to get strawberries. From behind, the cat prince poured the whole bottle of pepper lying in this soup.

 And then the princess brought strawberries and made her soup.  After a while the giant came and the princess gave him that soup.  As soon as he drank the soup, the giant started screaming and ran towards the river for water.  There was a magical cat waiting for him.  When the cat saw the giant approaching, it raised its tail and tied it to a tree.  As soon as the giant came near the river, he hit his tail and fell into the river.  As soon as he saw it, the strong current of the river swept away the giant, and he was never seen again.

 After a while the princess also reached the river and the magical cat told her that I have saved your life from this giant forever and now you are free.  Saying this, the magical cat enchanted the princess and she fainted.  Then the cat left the princess in the palace and left.  When the princess woke up, she did not remember anything.

 Now the curse of the magical cat was over.  A few days later, the prince came to ask for the cat's hand and the princess agreed to marry the prince at that time.  Then they got married and they were happy forever.

بہت ہی پورانہ وقت کی بات ہے کہ ایک سلطنت میں بہت ہی خوش حال بادشاہ اور ملکہ رہا کرتے تھے۔ ان کی ایک چھوٹی سی بیٹی للی تھی۔ ایک دن ملکہ للی کے ساتھ باغ میں بیٹھی تھی کہ اچانک سے ایک جھاڑیوں میں سے ایک بلی نکلی جو کافی گندی اور زخمی حالت میں تھی۔ للی بلی کو دیکھ کر بہت خوش ہو رہی تھی۔ تو ملکہ نے اس بلی کو پالتو بنانے اور صاف ستھرا کرنے کا حکم دیا۔

پھر بلی اور للی کا آپس میں سارا دن کھیلتے رہتے۔ دونوں کا پیار اس قدر بھڑ گیا کہ للی بلی کے بغیر سوتی ہی نہیں تھی۔ پھر ایک رات بلی کا زخم ٹھیک ہوگیا اور وہ چپکے سے محل سے چلے گئی۔ جس کی وجہ سے للی بہت روئی اور بادشاہ نے حکم دیا کہ بلی کو ڈھونڈا جاۓ۔ لیکن بلی کسی کو نہ ملی اور وقت گزرتے ہی بلی کو بھلا دیا گیا۔

کچھ سال گزرنے کے بعد شہزادی جوان اور بہت خوبصورت بھی ہوگئی۔ شہزادی کو جنگل میں گھومنے اور اکیلے میں گنگنانے کا بہت شوق تھا۔ ایک روز وہ اپنے خدمتگاروں کے ساتھ جنگل میں سیر کے لیے گئی۔ وہاں اس نے اپنی سریلی آواز میں گنگنانا شروع کیا اس کی مدھر آواز سن کر اس کے خدمتگار سوگے۔ پھر اکیلی گنگناتی جنگل میں کافی آگے نکل گئی۔

اس کے گنگنانے کی آواز جنگل کے دیو نے سنی اور دیوانہ ہوگیا۔ پھر دیو شہزادی کو اٹھا کر اپنے ساتھ لے گیا اور قید کر دیا۔ دیو نے کہا اب تم صرف میرے لیے گنگنایا کرو گی۔ شہزادی کافی دیر روتی رہی لیکن اس کی مدد کو کوئی نہیں آیا۔ پھر دیو نے شہزادی کو نہر سے پانی لانے کا کہا اور کہا اگر تم نے بھاگنے کی کوشش کی تو میں تمہیں ڈھونڈ کر مار دوں گا۔

شہزادی روتے روتے دریا کنارے پہنچی وہاں اسے وہی بلی ملی جس سے وہ بچپن میں کھیلا کرتی تھی۔ لیکن وہ اس بلی کو پہچان نہ سکی۔ شہزادی کو بلی بہت پیاری لگی۔ شہزادی نے بلی سے کہا کیا تم  میری دوست بنوگی، جس پر بلی نے سر ہلا دیا۔ پھر شہزادی نے اسے سارا واقع بتایا کے اسے دیو نے بندھی بنا لیا ہے اور وہ اب بھاگ بھی نہیں سکتی۔ اور کہا کاش تم مجھے بچاسکتی۔

 شہزادی کے یہ بات سن کر بلی ایک شہزادے میں تبدیل ہوگئی۔ مگر اس کے سر پر بلی کے کان اور کمر پر بلی کی پوچھ ابھی بھی مجود تھی۔ شہزادی یہ سب دیکھ کر بہت حیران ہوئی اور بولی تم کون ہو؟ اس پر بلی شہزادہ بولا گھبراؤ نہیں میں پڑوس کی سلطنت کا شہزادہ ہوں۔ میرے بچپن مجھے بدعا دی گئی کہ میں بلی کے وجود میں اس جنگل میں رہوں۔ اور میں تب تک ایسے ہی رہوں گا جب تک میں کسی شخص پر مہربانی نہ کردوں، جس کا اسے علم نہ ہو۔

اتنے میں دیو نے غصہ سے شہزادی کو پکارا، جسے سن کر شہزادی نے بلی شہزادے سے اجازت مانگی اور غار کی طرف چل پڑی۔ اگلے روز جب شہزادی دوپہر میں دیو کے لیے کھانا بنا رہی تھی تو بلی شہزادہ چپکے سے غار میں آیا۔ اس وقت دیو غار میں مجود نہیں تھا۔ بلی نے پوچھا شہزادی تم کیا کر رہی ہو۔ تو شہزادی نے کہا میں دیو کے لیے کچھ اچھی سی چیز بنانے کی کوشش کر رہی ہوں، اور سوچ رہی ہو سٹابری سوپ بنا لوں۔ یہ کہہ کر شہزادی سٹابری لینے کے لیے جنگل میں گئی، پیچھے سے بلی شہزادے نے اس سوپ میں پاس پڑی کالی مرچ کی ساری بوتل انڈیل دی۔

اور پھر شہزادی سٹابری لائی اور اس کا سوپ بنایا۔ کچھ دیر بعد دیو آیا تو شہزادی نے اسے وہ سوپ دیا۔ سوپ پیتے ہی دیو چیخنے لگا اور پانی کے لیے دریا کی طرف بھاگا۔ وہاں پر اس کا انتظار طلسمی بلی کر رہی تھی۔ بلی نے جب دیو کو اپنی جانب آتے دیکھا تو اس نے اپنی پونچھ کو بڑھا کر درخت کے ساتھ باندھ دیا۔ جیسے ہی دیو دریا کے پاس آیا تو وہ دم سے ٹکرا کر دریا میں جا گرا۔ دیکھتے ہی دیکھتے دریا کا تیز بھاؤ دیو کو بہا لے گیا، اور یوں وہ پھر کبھی نہیں دیکھا گیا۔

کچھ دیر بعد شہزادی بھی دریا پر پہنچی تو طلسمی بلی نے اسے بتایا کہ میں نے تمہاری جان ہمیشہ ہمیشہ کے لیے اس دیو سے چھڑوا دی ہے اب تم آزاد ہو۔ یہ کہہ کر طلسمی بلی نے شہزادی پر جادو کیا اور وہ بے ہوش ہوگئی۔ پھر بلی نے شہزادی کو محل میں چھوڑا اور وہاں سے چلے گئی۔ جب شہزادی نیند اٹھی تو اسے کچھ یاد نہ تھا۔

اب طلسمی بلی کی بدعا بھی ختم ہوگئی تھی۔ کچھ روز بعد شہزادہ بلی کا ہاتھ مانگنے آیا اور تو شہزادی نے شہزادے سے شادی کے لیے اسی وقت ہاں کر دی۔ پھر دونوں کی شادی ہوگئی اور وہ دونوں ہمیشہ ہمیشہ کے لیے خوش رہنے لگے۔
